Alex Casella
Managing Director
Alex specializes in assisting helping professionals (Clinical Therapists, First Responders, Social Workers, Academic Professionals, Coaches, etc.) with organizing finances, protecting wealth, understanding retirement options, and preparing for the future. Alex distinguishes himself by emphasizing financial success is a result of human behavior and education.
With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Alex understands the unique needs of these professionals who often struggle to find time for financial management. Resonating with the passion for helping others, Alex developed a system that helps his clients prioritize their finances.
Beyond his professional role, Alex is an emeritus soccer referee with over 25 years of experience, having officiated at professional and Division One college levels. Now retired from soccer officiating, he focuses on his family and clients.
Currently residing in North Branford, CT with his wife, Jessie, their son Nico, their dog Denali, and their two cats Drake and Daphne. Alex is passionate about food, cooking, and outdoor activities including running, hiking, skiing, and biking. Actively involved in volunteer and fundraising activities, he support his alumni association, Rotary International, and many other organizations.

In 2022, Katie transitioned from coaching soccer to a career in the financial services industry, driven by her passion for finance. Joining a large financial organization, she embarked on a journey to make a meaningful impact on communities, believing in equal opportunities for everyone.
Katie noticed a lack of resources for coaches during her coaching tenure, sparking her passion for helping them navigate decisions. Active in the LGBTQ community, she provides a safe space for open discussions.
Katie joined Casella & Associates in January of 2024. In her role as a Financial Professional of the firm, she provides a crucial role in providing support to our clients. With an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, she not only manages a variety of administrative and servicing tasks, ensuring seamless operations for our clients, but also generates onboarding opportunities for new clients.
Outside of her role as a financial professional , Katie continues coaching soccer and training aspiring youth soccer players. She considers herself a world traveler and aspires to travel, embrace cultures and form new relationships in the places she visits.
Katie currently resides in Milford, CT with her partner Valarie and their hyper, loving dog Gypsy. She is active in various volunteer activities and supporting pride organizations. In her free time Katie enjoys playing her guitar, being active, and values spending time with family and friends.
